Delicious pizza. We were bummed that they didn't serve their breakfast pizza by the slice, butt really enjoyed their thick style pizza. I had Pepperoni and my wife had sausage and both were very good. I have also really enjoyed the Breakfast pizza here.

EDIT: I did recieve a refund and someone reached out to remedy this. Very happy with how this was handled and we look forward to eating more pizza! Great pizza! We absolutely love going here. However, the last time we ordered a pizza and paid extra for chicken, the chicken was so dried out and hard it was inedible. I reached out via email to the store but never heard back :(. We paid 30 dollars for a small and would have liked to at least get a refund for the crouton-like chicken that we paid extra for.

I dropped by today to enjoy Panhandler's 50th anniversary specials. Since I have been a customer for 50 years this meant a lot to me, contemplating the passage of half a century. The shop was very busy but the pizza was great as always. Thanks to Panhandler's for today's specials and for 50 years of great pizza!

45 for a large four topping pizza?! I was blown away during my recent visit that a pizza could be so expensive. We’ve been coming to Panhandler’s‘s pizza in northern Colorado and more specifically Fort Collins Colorado for more than 30 years. The original location at campus west was a unique blend of quality pizza, great service, and a fantastic atmosphere. the pizza is still fantastic and probably the best pizza in all of Fort Collins if you’re looking for the classic deep dish. However, during my most recent visit to the newer location in mid town, Fort Collins, not only was I shocked at the price of the pizza, I was shocked at the number of dirty tables with dishes piled up on them throughout the entire restaurant. I would say about 90% of the tables were dirty and had not been cleaned. There was one person working behind the counter, taking orders, and responsible for keeping the front of the house clean. I understand that food cost is high right now but 45 for a pizza is way too much. I’d like to say that we will continue to go here for Pizza but given the previous experience I’m not so sure that we will. I give a five star rating for the awesome pizza.

Some places are special not just because of the food, but because of the memories, the stories, and the moments they hold. Panhandler’s Pizza is exactly that kind of place. For my partner, Lauren, this has been her favorite pizza since childhood—a place where she shared meals, laughter, and stories with her grandparents, parents, friends, and now our own family. This kind of nostalgia is rare, and finding a restaurant that carries the weight of so many years of love and tradition is something truly priceless. But let’s be clear—it’s not just nostalgia; the pizza is absolutely delicious. My most recent visit was just this week. I stopped in to pick up a few slices to go for the family and while waiting, I ordered a local beer (because that’s all they serve, and I love that detail). The staff was friendly, welcoming, and exactly the kind of people you want running a place with this much history. When I got home, we opened up the box, and there it was—the same incredible pizza Lauren has loved her whole life, still as amazing as ever. She asked me, “Is the pizza really that good, or do you think it’s the nostalgia that makes me love it so much?” My answer? It’s both. A place like this wouldn’t have lasted since 1975 if the pizza wasn’t exceptional, and the pizza wouldn’t taste quite as magical if it didn’t come with the memories. It’s the perfect match of flavor and feeling, and that’s something you can’t fake. Places like Panhandler’s Pizza don’t just happen every day—they are cherished, legendary, and one-of-a-kind. If you’ve never been, you’re missing out on one of the most special pizza experiences you’ll ever have.

The wife and I stopped by from Greeley for lunch to try something different and we were not disappointed. We ordered the lovehandler pizza and they told us it would take 20 minutes and it was worth the wait. It’s their version of a supreme and their Italian sausage stole the show! It was delicious and piping hot. The manager/owner I’m assuming, asked how it was and I told her that I was calling the police because they assaulted my taste buds and we both got a laugh out of it. Great service and atmosphere too!

Great little hole in the wall type spot! The staff was great. Service was quick despite the place being packed. Gluten free crust available. Sometimes they even have live music! Casual, fun, pretty good pizza.

Panhandlers was so delicious!! Its thick crust and generous amounts of toppings left me wanting to try every flavor! We got the Dsayuno breakfast pizza, the beggar with Chicago style sauce, and a large cheese. The breakfast pizza includes green chili, sausage, bell peppers, onions, eggs, and gooey amazing cheese! It was our overall favorite pizza. They were all incredibly delicious!! It is a little pricey, but most definitely worth it!!!!
